WQ assessment of water treatment plants using environmental and statistical indicators within Baghdad City

The primary task that is facing most developing countries the untreated disposal of wastewater into water bodies. In order to meet needs future generations, integrated resources should be managed within a sustainable method. This study illustrates assessment and judgment suitability Tigris River for drinking purposes using quality index (WQI) selection mostly significant WQ parameters affect deterioration Artificial Neural Network (ANN). Along with Baghdad city, nine stations were assessed fourteen physicochemical parameters. Results, River, was classified (poor – polluted) according Weighted arithmetic WQI (WA-WQI) turbidity Total dissolved solids (TDS) are parameter affecting on WQ.
